He's a former military officer. He's someone who's had dealings... and he also had dealings with Omar Sheikh [Ahmad Omar Saeed Sheikh], the man who murdered Osama bin Laden." It is said as if everyone knew this piece of common knowledge. Sir David does not follow up with questions about her nonchalant remark. Could it be that we, in the USA, are the last in the world to know this information?

The government is scheduled to demolish thousands of UNDAMAGED units of public housing in New Orleans. The city is in the middle of an affordable housing crisis. Rents have skyrocketed and thousands are homeless. Meanwhile these undamaged apartments have remained unoccupied since the hurricane due to the city boarding them up, fencing them off and arresting trespassers who hold legal leases.

These properties are slated to begin demolition on or after December 15th.

Bush Just Gave Himself Dictatorial Powers

Bush signs unconstitutional "power grab" presidential directives NSPD51 and HSPD20, giving him full-dictatorial powers in the event of a loosely defined "catastrophic emergency."

The directives define "catastrophic emergency" as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government function."

It also states that "The President shall lead the activities of the Federal Government for ensuring constitutional government." In other words, the president gave himself the sole power and duty to interpret the constitution anyway he chooses, and neither Congress nor the public shall be allowed to debate or disagree on such matters.

Right now, the only thing standing between democracy and Bush's apparent desire to rule with an iron fist is a lesser event than that of 9/11.

Will you wait until he uses these powers to do something? .. or not.

In May of 1995, suffering from terminal cancer, he began giving talks in Las Vegas describing in detail the underground cities. John O'Neil started his new job as Head of Security at the World Trade Center on 9-11-01 His body was indentified by his employer Kroll Associates. TWO WEEKS, prior to the attack, O'Neill had left his job with the FBI. O'Neill had quit because he believed that the Bush administration had stymied the intelligence agency's investigations on terrorism. O'Neill charged that it had done so even as it bargained with the Taliban on handing over of Osama bin Laden in exchange for political recognition and economic aid. In the ultimate irony, O'Neill had gone public with these charges at the same time that he was leaving the FBI to become the head of security at the World Trade Center.

The NYPD now requires a permit for any public gathering, or 'parade', of 50 people or more. Section 1A of the city ruling defines a parade as "any march, motorcade, caravan, promenade, foot, or bicycle race, or similar event of any kind, procession or race which consists of a recognizable group of 50 or more pedestrians, vehicles, bicycles, or other devices move by human power, or ridden or herded animals proceeding together upon any public street or roadway."

This "redefinition" is Explicitly Prohibited in 1st Amendment.

"Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble ..."

March 20th Projections 4 Free Speech

Download ~ This coming Tuesday in honor of the 4th anniversary of the 2nd Iraq War. We ask everyone to join us at Ground Zero at 7:30 PM this Tuesday and to bring a candle. We will be doing a visual projection show over the site that will be seen from throughout the area.

There is also going to be an after-party at Mehanata (113 Ludlow, between Rivington and Delancey) with Djs PoodleCannon and Luke Warm spinning downstairs to visuals by GBC, and FluxRostrum doing a live video edit of the evenings action projected upstairs. The party has no cover.

BBC reporting on WTC7 collapse,HALF AN HOUR BEFORE IT HAPPENED

On September 11th 2001, BBC World reported at 4:57pm Eastern Time that the Salomon Brothers Building (more commonly known as WTC7 or World Trade Building 7) had collapsed. This even made the 5pm EST headlines, what is bizarre is that the building did not actually collapse until 5:20pm EST.

H.O.P.E.- Housing Opportunities For People Everywhere ~ St Bernard Projects Update

With the support of residents, activists from Mayday NOLA established and occupied the New Day Community Center in the St Bernard Housing Developement. This has been an on going struggle with government authorities to reopen housing in New Orleans that had very little damage from the hurricane. The people who lived in these apartments have been scattered across the country when they could have easily returned within weeks of the hurricane.

A Message to my Subscribers ... and The NY Anarchist Film Festival

Partially due to the NEW dangers inherit in reporting 1st hand accounts of dissent and corruption, independently, in a fascist society and partially due to my perception of the rapidly changing world of online video... This site's going to be a lot different from here out. I am currently working on a new video show concept and hope to have a new site and show for your enjoyment in a month or 2. I wish it could be sooner but there are many details to work out. This is gonna be cool and you can play along at home. ;!)

There are a ton of quality, truthful programs available to us on the internet these days but It seems that a Mentos & Coke mentality has taken over the minds of the general online video consumer. Vlog~Flux will be a place for cultural, documentary and news video that intend to inform you of your place in history and help you decide what you are comfortable doing to help shape the future by exposing you to evidence and stories that show the under belly of corporatism, nationalism, fundimentalism, rascism & capitalism. The second part of the film deals with the march on wall street on december 22, 2006. This part was partially shot with immersive 360 degree camera and focuses on police surveliance of demonstrators at the march.

MLK Day: St. Bernard Residents Go through Barbed Wire Fence
in order to Clean Out Their Apartments ... AGAIN
New Orleans, LA (January 15, 2007) –With mops and buckets in hand, displaced residents of the St. Bernard Public Housing Project will go through the barbed wire fence surrounding their homes to clean and rehabilitate them.

On Monday, January 15, Martin Luther King Day, the residents will rally at 12:00pm at Bynum Drugs Store, 3838 St. Bernard Ave, and then enter the property to restore their homes at 12:30.

"Our homes are livable, and we are cleaning them out so that we can live in them," says Sharon Seans Jasper, a St. Bernard resident and organizer. "We will not let the city destroy them."

"The residents who will be cleaning their apartments have current leases and therefore have a legal right to enter their homes," says rally organizer Endesha
Juakali of Survivors Village. "However, the police may not honor this right. Therefore public housing residents will be evoking the spirit of Dr. King on this
Martin Luther King Day."

Last Spring these same people did the same thing... They're still trying to get back into their UNDAMAGED APARTMENTS. ... the injustice of this is rediculous.
