Mardi Gras Video Is on the Way

Yes, there will be a Mardi Gras Video.

Living here now is anything but normal. For most people mundane daily chores can easily take all day and then there are days like today when I expected to be online all day and wound up breathing the lower 9th all day because they started putting up electric poles. (It's a huge deal.) We joked that they probably were only putting them up for show because a gaggle of congress people had scheduled a drive by photo-op by the levee that "failed" and that they would probably take them down the next day.

We had first heard that the public servants would get a debriefing from the Army Corp of Engineers reguarding the new levee being built.. at noon ... then 3 but if you leave the area you won't be allowed back in .. then 4, I think it was after 4 when they rolled up and were mobbed by several pushy, arogent, loudmouthed corporate news fucks.

While the politicians blathered on; 20 some former (and current) residents of the lower 9th were kept at bay a block away by ARMY Grunts and Police labled ICE. Eventually a solitary congressmen was sacrificed to the residents and he made many promises. Afterward a few more of the congress people walked out to great their subjects. Smiles, handshakes and ... empty promises did seem to apease the residents. I thought I was going to puke.

A full afternoon in the lower 9th, in the sun, has taken a toll and I've got that familiar full body lethergy and throat soreness that crops up sometimes when I've spent a lot time in a heavy destruction zone.

But back to the point. Yes, There will be a Mardi Gras video... maybe 2. Honestly, I wasn't going to do one but I got's somethin' special for ya. ... maybe by mid week.

It 's Time to RevelStoke

Since recieveing so much advice regarding "taking a hike", I secretly set off on a pilgrimage to Canada's Mount Revelstoke... to stoke my revel.
HIGH Atop Mount Revelstoke
I just come down off the mountain. It was an amazing full day Trip up the mountain and back ... stoking and reveling the entire way... I thought I'd never get back and infact ... I'm not sure I'm back yet. I can't feel my legs; is that OK. I only saw 3 people all day on the mountain and I don't think any of them saw me because I was an invisable God today... :)
HIGH Atop Mount Revelstoke
I've checked into a wireless camprground and intend to sit here for awhile because this will take several days to recover from.

How do you stoke your revel?

Canadian Premier of
"ALL BABES WANT TO KILL ME"

A movie that I star in is screening at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal, Canada on July 22nd at 5:30 pm.
The Cho Brothers prepare for battle
Click Image to Download the trailer
~~~
The kung fu comedy All Babes Want to Kill Me is set to make its Canadian debut at the Fantasia International Genre Film Festival, North America's number one genre film festival. All Babes Want to Kill Me is the story of a martial artist afflicted with a rare disease that makes beautiful women want to kill him and his suicide mission to find true love anyway. The filmmakers, writer-director Colin Miller and producer Alex Cain, will appear with star Gianni Lazuli on a panel following the film.
A High Cotton Films production, All Babes Want to Kill Me debuted in the US at the San Diego ComicCon: John Frankel of Movies For Guys writes: "Great gut busting laughs in here; great premise; great movie and destined to become a cult classic, this one will have fans for the rest of time." Stephan Blitz of Forces Of Good, writes: "Despite it being his first time behind the camera, Miller's expertise as a director is evident with the extremely well choreographed fight scenes and a manic energy that captures the spirit of directors John Landis and Sam Raimi; possibly the most enjoyable kung fu comedy of all time and most amazingly a film the whole family can enjoy." Dave Davies, C.H.U.D. calls it "relentlessly silly, Joshua Tyler, Cinemablend, writes: "Incredibly funny; Miller has serious promise" and Vaughn Dyche of The Film Asylum writes: "Simply one of the funniest slapstick action movies I have seen in a long time. Complete with a crazy love story, good looking cast and genuinely effective fights; look out for this one on its release because you won't be disappointed."
All Babes Want to Kill Me stars Colin Miller, Gianni Lazuli, Alex Cain, John F. Schaffer, Sara Litz, Michael Yama, Bridget Ellen, Zena Leigh, Katy Magnuson and Silvia Spross. All fans will receive an All Babes Want to Kill Me collectible, created solely for Fantasia. You can discover all there is to know about Mercritis, the real disease the film is based on at Mercritis OnLine. Who knows, you may even have it! All Babes Want to Kill Me is rated PG-13.
Tickets are available through at the ticket booth located at the Hall Building of Concordia University, at 1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd. West.
It's Flag Burning Day
Today I celebrate the freedom of having my editing machine die while editing footage of my camera dieing and a cop dieing.
I have 2 more videos to come from the Philly BioTechnology Conference Protests and I'm taking my tapes to a friends to edit for the next few days. I'll have to start an almost finished video from scratch.
You can expect a Direct Action video and a BioTech Healthcare video within the week. After that, well, I'll be taking a little breather for regrouping.
Oh, and Happy Flag Burning Day (more on this years event later).
